Re: MRP Round 10

I still shake my head that the controlling umpire didn't pay a free kick and/or report King on the night. It's HOWLERS like this and the NON FREE to Nick Riewoldt that really get up my nose. Its time the highly paid prima donna umpires at this level are exposed for such POOR decisions. Yes, I fully...

Re: Facts on 6 day break bias for 2012

We do ask for Monday night game though, which has contributed to this run. The Pies get Queens bday and Anzac Day. The AFL can go f themselves if they blame the six day break Fiasco over ONE Monday night request! After Queens Birthday the AFL have kindly given Collingwood the bye. After ANZAC day t...

Re: We lost the game, but won a future......

We fkn lost the plot down back in the last. WTF are all the free tigers doing in their fwd 50?????? yes that was odd.. The tigers WALKED in at least three goals, I'm fkn fuming! Either our defenders are complete half-wits, or the coaches are. Its the risks of a full ground press learn the game befo...

Re: Bit of a reality check

Not many would have stopped Riewoldt is dead right. Simpkin had no help at all basically. No CHB or ruckman filling a hole. Not many fullbacks can stop a forward one out.

Re: Buddy, Rioli, and now Jack Riewoldt

It seems that we can't stop the big time forwards nowadays. We can't win games if we let teams' stars off the leash. I mean, isn't obvious that J. Riewoldt was kicking their entire score? Why couldn't we just double team him? Probably the fact our best defender was out injured. Our next best defend...

Was a crap call by the umpire. If you have no options up the ground just kick it to the runner.

Exactly. Collingwood had Reid and Keefe plaing on Jack and had there first choice ruck and just hung on. Not to mention Richmond played Miller and Post who where the worst two players on the ground.

Roo was fantastic I thought he was BOG to be honest. Yeah Jack kicked 8 but four where gimmies. Mind you Jack didn't touch the ball on Blake in the third.

Had to ruck and hit some really good leads yeah he got caught but why give it to him on his right? Milne was worse.

Re: Jack Steven stats v Dane Swan stats at same age

Let's be honest though .. At this age Ablett was still a spoilt daddys boy who was riding on his name not his skills he needed to pull his finger out to become the player he now is .. As for Swan he was working on staying out of the lock up at this age andwas really wasting his skills to that point...

How's when Milne was grabbed around the ankles no free of course and Dwayne says Milne clearly tripped and a free would have been paid if he fell over.

Got to 16 points the Eagles got the next 6 frees. Just have to laugh at the treatment of Riewoldt.

It took two minutes to prove a point.

Two minutes in Hayes takes a mark fifty five out Selwood comes in and retards him. Umpire gives nothing. Well Plugger66 why?

Re: Umpires won gain

The 50 was technically there. The massive issue is that ,would the 50 have been paid to us in the same situation? The answer is NO only a couple of weeks ago we saw BJ mark fifty out with a minute or so to go and the Freo player actually ran over and tackled him to the ground. No penalty and no goa...

Why? We played an intraclub. Essendon didn't and are doing much better than is this season.
Completely different list, Saints had older guys like Dal, Joey, Fisher and others scheduled for their first hitout.
Plus we had WC over there in 35 degree heat that a lot of players where nev...

Re: Round 8 Team v WCE

Ledger - 16 first half touches in first half v Sandy last week. 8 in the second. Tank, plus others seen as more versatile I'm guessing. I personally think there trying to get him to play a string of games as a mid to get his tank up. Maybe theyve set him a target og 9-10 games playing a majority of...

Walker kicked a couple early and was barely sighted after that. Gilbert had a couple of shocking kicks but his defensive work was good.

Re: How costly was the Port Loss??

I'm not too fussed about the Port loss as we played like crap. If we won we would have stole it. The Fremantle loss on the other hand is an absolute disgrace where incompetent umpiring changed the result of the match. Both could end up very costly though The Port and Freo games where both decided b...

Yep, I can cop the missed 50/50 calls but we have been on the wrong end of so many blatant mistakes its sickening. Last week against the Hawkes they where gifted a five goal advantage by blatant mistakes. were you paying attention at the end of the first quarter last night? ray's goal came from two...

Re: The Umpires can get stuffed!

Great win which just makes me madder thinking about the Port and Freo games. Both games taken away by blatant bias and incorrect umpiring decisions. We should be 6-1 going into a Perth trip ( thanks AFL fir the short week) So umpires you can get stuffed. add the hawks game to that list.... easy 2 g...

Re: The Umpires can get stuffed!

Did you go for a leak when Armitage had the mark taken off him? Another break when Milera got pinned for holding the ball. Both cost us goals. Both incorrect calls. are you serious? we got a lot of dubious ones tonight. had the better of the umpiring by far. partly it was because we went in harder ...
