He deserves to keep his spot but don't over rate the performance.

He put other players under pressure with his disposal once again.

He did try to cover the ground yesterday which was pleasing, but I wouldn't

say he was anywhere near one of our best.

I take it everybody wants him to start not because he gets the ball but

because he can tackle. I take this to mean you think we will be on the back

foot from the beginning.

I actually thought he performed okay yesterday. He didn't get enough of the

ball but was good when he did. I'm normally critical of his ball use, but not

yesterday.

Umpires fault that we played like crap for 3 quarters.

It doesn't matter who the player is, if you can do a trade that improves a

side than you do it. It's not about an individual but about the team.

There is a reason why some sides continue to win premierships and others

don't.

Armo was excellent. Tackled well, got a lot of his own ball but like almost every player on the ground had poor disposal. One game doesn't make a career, but it was a good start. As an aside I don't know if it was the conditions or just the way we played but it was a poor game of football to watch.

You only have to look at the saintsational forum to see how opinion differs as to who is the best on the ground. Last week against the swans most people voted for either Schneider, BJ or Monty as the best with a couple voting NDS and Ray as the best. So how can the umpires be assured to vote for him...

I doubt any saint would win it as they are going to be stealing each others votes. Hope I'm wrong but as we have 5 players in the favourites it will depend who gets the 1 vote and who gets the 3. I remember Brad Hardie saying that in 2005 when he won the medal he polled in 8 games and the next year ...

Ball is not as important to the structure as he was 12 months ago. 12 months ago we only had 2 midfielders who could win their own ball, now almost everybody can. So while he got away with not being an elite runner or very efficient in his disposal he can't anymore. Hopefully he can work on these th...

They will want to keep the structure the same, so I'm assuming one of the

ruckmen will stand the goal square. I'm not sure Goose has being as

good in the seconds as people tend to think. I've only seen a couple but

there seems to be good games mixed with average.

Whether his form is down through just having a bad patch or through injury, the point is it is down and he should have being dropped. If his name was Clarke, Eddy or someone of similar ilk people would be shouting from the top of Etihad Stadium to drop them. If he's injured he shouldn't be coming ba...

In my opinion he's gone backwards this year. The rest of the midfield seem to be able to get their own contested ball unlike last year and to be honest some are far more elite runners. This has mean't more bench time which I believe has effected his form especially in the last month I thought he may...

How do you use Miles and Steven as depth when they haven't played

Also Geelong lost their best forward, best midfielder and best defender.

Take Roo, Lenny and imo Fisher and see how we would do?

Yes, but not playing the same opponents. If your going to use stats you

need to get as much data otherwise outside variables have too much effect

on the end result. Do you actually believe that Collingwood or the Western

Bulldogs are better defensively than Geelong?

Inker look at the entire year not the amount of rounds to make your argument work. Not every team played each other in the past 6 rounds
