i wonder what the tax is like on 600 grand? Tax on $600,000 is $247,000, which leaves them with a measly $353,000 or just under seven grand a week! I suppose if he was to spend $1000 a day he would be in trouble. Salary sacrifice? Yep, a fair bit would (should) be going into their super funds which...

Yes Hird's article is a good one and after all that praise, I thought he would tip us against the Dogs this week. I guess we need to impress him even more.

From what I saw today, he played no worse than King. McEvoy did very well and is certainly going places. Well done to him.

They usually stich up a split webbing but it can re-open if he comes back too soon. Wise policy to miss at least one week and possibly a second. He is too valuable not to allow the right amount of time so as to let it heal 100%.

For St Kilda the risk here is - who steps in to fill the 8 tackle games that Ball gives????????....Hayes cant be left on his own here or we will flounder. That's an excellent point. Lenny will need assistance tomorrow with both tackles and 'in and under' work. A greater effort will be required from...

Well it hasn't been a problem this year with appearances so far from Riewoldt, Ball and Dal Santo. :)

Sheldon mainly used Russell Morris on Brownless that day but he too struggled. did he? i've never seen a replay of that match, but it broke my heart at the time. i always thought it was mainly harding. no you are right...it was harding...never played for us again....but went on to be a good player ...

Lockett was amazing that day, an absolute freak who was almost the full forward line on his own. :) I don't think we will ever see such a talented power forward again. I remember Paul Harding had a shocker that day and some of his efforts were woeful, especially when he was used in defence to try t...

Armitage is courageous and has a tough body. If he can continue to show consistency in his game, he will be a valuable part of our midfield as we could do with another quality inside midfielder.

I look at the positives. His positioning in ruck contests has improved dramatically since last year He gives a lot more than King around the grounds And that move he did in the first quarter for a big man was super impressive. Lots of upside When you think that he and Stanley, who IMO could be anyt...

He wasn't much chop, certainly not aggressive enough and looks too slow. But who do you bring in, Stanley? From what I have seen already in Sandy games, Stanley has significantly more "raw" upside to what McEvoy has shown to date. I also think McEvoy lumbers too much and his ground covera...

Geelong's achilles heel is their forward line. Take Mooney out of the game and they lack a main focal point in their front half. Hawkins showed last night that he has a fair way to go still. Hawthorn exposed them in last year's GF and we have the talent to do the same if we maintain that fantastic r...

Win tomorrow and likely to have 4 game break and % over 3rd

We can really set ourselves up for an almost certain Top 2 finish by winning tomorrow. Now that Geelong beat the Dogs and if Sydney at home beat Port as expected, a win against the Lions tomorrow will put us 4 games clear with percentage from 3rd spot. Effectively 5 games clear for us, so go do your...

Fevola has always loved St.Kilda with a passion since he was a kid and if you think Ray's impact has been excellent, Fev would have been an even better player at the Saints than his career has shown to date at Carlton. There was some serious discussion to get him at the later stage of Gehrig's caree...
