Did his knee go sideways??
That would be lateral/medial....ice would be sides of knee 4-6 wks
ACL ......back of knee, from bottom secion of leg locked and top still moving...Or a twisting with the lower leg locked....12 mths
PCL impact through the front of the leg, pushing the bottom part of the leg backwards 8-12 wks.....ive would be strapped to the front of leg
Not a doctor.....wife is
But i have done lateral, medial and an acl twice...
Looked like an acl live, but have not seen any vision

Saw the slo-mo replay a few times.
Looks like he definately injured the medial ligament in his ankle as well as opening up the Medial ligament in his knee. The thing that stood out to me was the way he couldn't weight bear on the knee and it appeared locked, so I get the feeling he has torn the medial meniscus (cartilage) in the knee also. There was no evidence to say the ACL has gone (from the replay), but it is common to tear the ACL with this mechanism so my gut feel is that he has.
Given this I wouldn't think LARS is an option because of the extent of the damage and even if there is enough ACL tissue to do the operation he will still have a long lay off due to the other issues.
Not good....
Having said all of this I haven't assessed Lenny nor have I seen any scans so I could be completely wrong.

Scary stuff kp83. Thanks for your professional opinion. It doesnt sound good at all Absolutely love Lenny and what he brings to the side. I hope by some miracle you're wrong.
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Straight from a senior player on Saturday morning, it would appear the belief inside the club is that Lenny's gone for the season.
Will not be sharing the player's name, so please no PM's, and no abuse for the "share the source" crap. My son had his photo with a player this morning so that's how we have the info.
Sorry to dampen the optimistic hope that it may not be that bad, I was hoping that myself.

Ouch!
The European ski season has come to an early effective end (too warm) and then before I can return home our footy teams season has come to an early effective end.
I leave things in you guys care and you allow this disaster. Must I spend all year in Oz supervising our team.
