Our captain deserves a thread of his own.

Very good effort tonight.

That's 3 good games out of 4 for our legend.

Welcome back!!

The 2nd Key Forward role is helping him......... Na, was a good game from him, just gota sort his goal kicking and he will be fine.

His effort is trending in the right direction however his set shot kicking is embarrassing. Great effort though. Hope he keeps improving.

still well off his best - baby steps back is okay as long as he hits his stride come finals.

What I loved about him tonight, and throughout the whole year is:

Despite not being at his best, which is clear, and is OK as a lot of great players have down periods, he continues to work.

Took 14 marks tonight, just due to presenting, double leads, 100m sprints, Rutten just couldn't go with him.

Also - I think his taken his forward pressure to another level. His always been OK in this area of the game, but clearly he has stepped it up a notch in the past few weeks.

His tackling and shepherding was great tonight, something like 8 tackles last week, and 6 this week.

Great work by the Volt - as I said, despite his stats looking fantastic, he still isn't near his best - but he is still giving it everything for the club!

Goddard.
