no more false dawns, no more rose coloured glasses looking at the past 2 years.

The fact is, and has been all year- we are about the 7th/8th best team in it.

This fall from being top 2 is indisputable and some fundamental changes are needed.

A team of try-ers aint gonna cut it.

Maybe even a coach who values try-ers as highly as RL isn't going to cut it?

Not that im saying we shouldn't try and keep RL, but his hellbent philosophy of filling the side with nullifying players puts incredible pressure on the likes of Roo, BJ, Dal to perform exceptionally.

RL himself remarked earlier in the year that we were very easy to play against.

When you only have a handful of guys who's job is to hurt the opposition, he is not far wrong.

I bought a shirt from Target once.
It had a hard tag on it too.

I know how Dal feels.

Thank goodness our season is over as for the most part there has been nothing good about it.

Whilst I'd like to think next year may see a step in the right direction, something tells me it's going to be a bumpy road ahead...

I tend to agree.

Am ambivalent about the loss - there can be no rose colored glasses here....we butchered the ball, we do it weekly, we miss easy set shots weekly and rely on the footskills eof a handful of superstars.....

Skill is more important than speed and we could do with both.
