Why are you so negative on our young players? Your shepherd was like that...Armo is still learning and he is a valuable inside player. He works hard and he also loves kicking goals. He is not perfect but neither was Lenny when he started or BJ when he started.

I'm not saying he'll be as good as these blokes, but unless he gets consistent consecutive games and a coach teaches and develops players and has faith and confidence in them, then the team cannot prosper long term.

You shouldnt post on here if you cant handle what people say and I certainly never said what you said. And if I did bad luck but sorry i didnt say it.
Ah piss of you old fart. I couldn't give two s***s what you think.

You just piss me off with having to pick any little negative in something.

As I said I have heard it all on here about Dave and have learnt to deal with it. Doesn't mean some posters don't s*** me though. And its not what you say about David that s***s me its what you say full stop.

But nothing a beer or three won't fix. Now shut up and get back to picking on someones else.
great news re your brother......he is fast becoming my favorite saints player......tough as nails

3 huge signings for our future.

Jack is a clearance king.

Armo tough in and under and tackle machine.

Simpkin is silky smooth skillful backman who just needs an AFL body.

Great news. Well done to particularly to Head for earning another senior contract after coming off the rookie list.

Fantastic news! Must admit I thought all 3 of these guys could have been targeted by other clubs. All 3 should be playing the majority of next season in our best 22. Jack and Armo should be automatics if fit.
Simpkin can step straight in to any spot in the back 6 next year. IMO the best & most consistent player for us at Sandy in 2011 (& 2010). Reads the play as good as anyone and doesn't seem to have any weaknesses. Should we lose/trade any of our back 6, I am very confident Tom can step straight in.
Well done Boys on signing when the club has had a string of bad news

No not negative at all. I have said from day one Jack will eventually be a star once his body was right. I also have high hopes for Simpkin. I think he has very good skills on both sides of his body and closes well when punching. Probably didnt show it in his 2 games but I think he will make it. Armo is a solid in and under player and could be important for us also.

Good news, now we need Armo and Steven to get a running coach and do a lot of sprint work over summer to get a bit more speed out of those legs! Simpkin is ready made for the backline.

Loved BJ's quip last night to the Lady from the St Arnaud Saints-- you want to come work at St Kilda

we know the bent of the medai-
this morning
3 port players sacked- well contracts not renewed.

oh and BTw 3 Blues re-signed

and at the Bottom of another who is coach story
■St Kilda last night announced it had re-signed David Armitage, Jack Steven and Tom Simpkin.

Armitage played his 50th game in the Saints' season-ending elimination final loss to Sydney a fortnight ago, while Steven also had a strong season.

Simpkin played two senior games this year after coming off the rookie list.

out of curiosity yes

must know no- because even if they say 1 yr or 2 yr we still get the maniacal obsession with media and some supporters of trying to second thrid and fourth guess when they are leaving - Not whether they are staying. ie BJ..

Really happy with this I reckon Armo & Jack really to a huge step this year, I think they will flurish under a new coach. Great young players, huge fan.

With Simpkin, and Dawson under a cloud, I would not be surprised if Simkin plays a lot more than 2 games in 2012.

You are a strange person Plugger .. You find a perversed joy in knocking peoples opinion .. Really this forum would be really boring if people only posted things that were hard facts.. People are entitled to their own opinion .. You don't have to act like a knob all the time
SWo it is just better to lie. That is just so positive. And by the way it depends what poster says something. Some times posters have form of pretending opinion is fact. This guy is one such poster. It you said it I wouldnt have given a stuff.

Would that be like saying Pelchen is difficult to trade with despite being the architect of several big trades of high profile players at the hawks. Opinion is assumed by me and the need to qualify every statement is just painful. I think you do have form of being deliberately antagonistic and contrary to others opinions plugger.
