Max Hudghton to be new defence coach at St Kilda?
any possibility?
started as part timer at collingwood as defence coach and to my knowledge is still there.
wouldn't be surprised if (out of loyalty) eager to come back home if offer right?

Well Ross being gone would make it more likely.millarsaint wrote:any possibility?

Well I was more hurt by Harves going to Carlscum so to see Max back would be great.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

The attitude of a loser. A great champion of our club, and our club makes no attempt to keep him. He is successful at a club which is far more professional than our club, and you would say no to him. Loser mentality and loser logic.thejiggingsaint wrote:Max! enjoy the building trade! DO NOT ever show your face at St Kilda again! NOT WANTED under ANY circumstances!!!

What a load of rubbish saying Max is not welcome back.
He went to Collingwood, same as Harves went to Carlton. Would we all hate Harves had it been Carlton that knocked us over in the GF last year??
Really, players finish their careers and go elsewhere to gain experience.
As much as it hurts do we really expect him not to smile when the side he worked with all year wins the flag??
How about instead of being overrly emotional all the time our club starts to actually look at getting the best people, and put in systems that are best practice, instead of just talking about it.

What a stupid comment ... What would you have him do cry cause the saints lost ? Remember it was St Kilda that robbed him of a g/f in 09 it was St Kilda who pushed him into retirement.. It was St Kilda who didn't see it fit to give him a job ... Fair go there are some peanut comments on here but this just about takes the cake ...jonesy wrote:Never forgive someone who smiles when filth win a flag

Another poor short sighted view by a normally positive poster ... Everyone was over the moon to see Plugger return to the club functions a while back yet you don't want to see a true saints legend return ... Every one who thinks Max isn't welcome has got rocks in their head ... Let me guess if Max's son becomes a top player in the next few year should we not use the father son to pick him up or will you all still hold grudges ??thejiggingsaint wrote:Max! enjoy the building trade! Id take him back as a player....
Im sick of seeing our zoning key defenders trail forwards to an easy hit up mark, shake their heads in disbelief and put their hands up whilst watching the big screen to figure out whose fault it was that the midfielder didnt just bomb it in.....
Maxy.....he was always on their hammer....trying to get a fist in...at least fwds had to beat him in a contest...
