Going to the footy Saturday night and races Sunday for the Wangaratta Cup. I think the real Bob Murray lives in Wang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not lazy, just saving money. Costs a fair bit to setup at one off locations for a game that won't rate that well.

The round 1 games should rate better as they are short and involve three games back to back.

Would make more sense to play at six regional venues in round 2 with the same three team three game format as round 1 and for the AFL to stipulate the games to be shown on Foxtel.

This would promote bigger crowds and higher ratings IMO, plus give some rare TV exposure to some regional towns.

An analogy could be that the round 1 games are Twenty20 footy, whilst round 2 and 3 are 50 over versions, and regular season games are Test matches!

It's great to hear so many of you coming to the game. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us and we will see a great game. The ground will be in great shape and the lights are spectacular. The build up and preparation for this game is huge, hopefully we can pull it off and have a successful night.
The council are talking about arranging busus to drop people off to save traffic congestine. Anyway folks hope ya have a great time
in our home town Wangaratta.
The collingwood players are here for a couple of days . Had some bogans come to the ground taking photos, chatting, pointing
and excited and then realized it was the Wang Magpies Training, they missed the bus, so to speak

Bob Murray does live in Wang and will be guest speaker on the night with dinner included for 70 dollars, not sure there maybe some other guests.
