BJ is a very good player who is out of form and his confidence is low.
I think we all try to read to much into things and over analyse why he is playing so poorly by his standards.
I think he has become so used to getting the uncontested footy that now when he actually has to beat an opponent he second guesses himself and becomes frustrated and due to this his confidence is shot.
No doubt he is sore but so is everyone else and he isn't the only player on our list let alone in the AFL coming off a restricted preseason.
Give him a head to head job on Boyd this week, similar to the job Dal did on Watson.
Boyd will take him to the footy and get him in the contest there is no doubt about that.
Maybe he wins some hard footy and gets a taste for the contest again. I think it would do him the world of good.
