They have no midfield depth, and I'm pretty sure they wanted to pick up Ross and we pinched him with an earlier pick.
They could have had him with an earlier pick but took Kav. Only got themselves to blame if Seb turns superstar.
Same deal with Dunnell who they had a pick directly before us to get him with. Despite what the pathetic media say about the Saints pouncing on him before Essendon could complete the father son fairytale...
Strength through Loyalty
Go those mighty Sainters!!
Does anyone have a review of Seb which they can post?
One of those reviews which are done on the possible draft picks prior to them getting drafted, which lists their strengths and weaknesses etc. would be handy.
Also, which AFL player does he most likely resemble with his playing style? Is he like a Kieran Jack?

This is some stuff from phantom drafts over at bigfooty
Pick 31: Sebastian Ross (VIC – Mid/Fwd)
Height: 187cm, Weight: 82kg, DOB: 07/05/1993
Recruited from: North Ballarat Rebels
Style: Nick Dal Santo
Player comparison:
Range: 15-45
Profile: Medium midfielder/forward who feels really draftable. Really lively. Has a high work rate. Footskills are the standout feature of his game. Just one of those perfect left footers. Under pressure has no difficulty executing. Really like his tackling pressure and for someone with his footskills it’s a rare combination to have. Can play some midfield either inside or outside comfortably. But really like what i’ve seen of him as a forward most. Hard worker and has been a real improver over the past year.
Glad we get to see him, brings a bit of excitement to a season that is basically already over. Be good to see Daniel Markworth too, could he be a late change?
So Markworth and Newnes are also from 'Bomber' territory.
Fact is the Bombers didnt want Newnes, Seb, Dan or Frankie Jr. The draft is meaningless once its over as is media crap about teams 'wanting' a player (but not actually picking them when they have the opportunity). . These 3 guys are 100% Sainters now. Bummers can bum themselves.
GO THE SEB!

Has been playing in the VFL all year so a big step up - even against today's rabble.
8 disposals and 3 tackles, that's good enough in your first game. Lenny only had 11 in the first half
