Picked up Russell Holmseby's new book at the 140th.
Had a quick thumb through - it looks terrific.
Got the author to sign it and I asked him how it compared to his other two (TPOIA, HWH) ...
... and he said "This is the best".
Anyone had a chance to read it yet?

Just got home smack on 7.00 PM and was thinking...should I watch the news or turn on Finey???
Absolutely wrapt that I chose the radio...Great listening for over 30 minute by some truly passionate Sainter fans
Nigel Carmody also on the show is always good value - very knowledgeable and he's a Sainter too isn't he?

I rang the club on Thursday about when I can collect my ordered copy and they said they're working on it and will recieved a phone call shortly.
Might have been quicker to have it posted from deep darkest Moorabbin/Seaford to even deepest darkest East of Bentleigh.

They told me when I paid for it in November last year I would get it in May 2013....AND I did, got it yesterday.....

Yes, my copy also arrived in the mail last week.
It looks amazing. The design on the cover is fantastic.
Would love to have Russell sign my copy. He signed my copy of The Point of it All. We're lucky to have such a great historian for our club.
