He consistently runs back with the flight.
Always "goes" even when he doesn't have to.
Sets a high personal courage standard.
Really admire him.
If he is just a GOP then happy to have a few more GOPs.

What's all the stuff in this thread about Big Mac being traded or not having a future at the club? Did I miss a meeting?

Would Dempster be a possible future captain? He's the right age group, isn't he?

Nothing more than a thought at this stage. Some consider that Mac, Stanley, Hickey and maybe Pierce in the coming few years wont work in the same team.

So with that to consider, and if GWS were to give up pick 1 for him, or say, Mac and pick 20ish for pick 1 and Adams, or something ridiculous for him, I would definitely consider that option. Tom Boyd will be a fantastic player, but to be honest, I don't know if it would work by getting rid of such a great player. Well, thats why McEvoys name has been thrown around, now lets get back to why Geary isnt captain material! :?

I'd be astounded if that was the case. He's the next captain

I'm sure he's already in the leadership group??

Love the way he plays.... Tough as F***
is he any less skilled than Gary Colling?

colling was a very good solid ordinary footballer who worked his guts out for the club in over 250 games......he was extremely loyal player and a good choice as captain....geary has a long way to go before he can be compared to colling....imho...that is....
