Dear oh dear Nick....

You just cannot miss 3 gettable goals and expect not to get hurt the other way....

For a 250 game player (leader) to look nervous when having a shot from 30 is disappointing.... Just go back and drill it!!!

Fevola, Brown, Lloyd and all good goal kickers, just didn't think about missing.... That's all Nick thinks about!

It's getting worse again by the game. It's such a pity. He's so close to being the perfect player. Will still be one of best. He runs so hard.

That's fair enough. Maybe someone should spray him for missing sitters. If I was coach, I would.

I think his leg was jabbed after a collision. Hard to kick with no feeling below the knee.

Firstly

No ones saying 'sack him'

Secondly

He had two kicks before the knee, and did not get a jab!

Riewoldt is basically our forward line. When he's on, we're in touch. When he's not, the scoreboard hurts.

Frustrating nature of the situation.

Riewoldt is such an influential player that even in rebuild mode, he can still be heart of the forward line and carry us over the line. But when his radar is off, it's bloody hard to stay in the game. How is that a cheap shot at the team?

Aged almighty.....

Unbelievable?!

Yes
Sack SW and Nick

The point of the post

And yes Mav, we lost, so I'm posting.... Only three weeks where I haven't posted, yep, that's accurate.... Sounds like the dribble of another

Maybe I should have lauded Nick for missing 3 easy goals which would have finished off the hard work and given appropriate reward?
Would that make everyone happy?
Or perhaps find excuses.... Which would have to excuse history also

I love Nick ... but at end of day - I agree - his shots on goal should be better. Not happy with his ration. Those first 2 shots were very gettable.

First line

Gawd Almighty.....

Auto correction again

Why when there is a criticism does everyone jump to defence?! I didn't call his first born ugly or call him a s*** player?

It is a pretty fair observation, he missed easy goals, which is not good enough, and a habit.... Mentally he should be better for a leader/veteran

It's deflating for the team when the forwards are spoon fed opportunities. Roo ended up kicking 1.4 and those shots early on were costly as BM pointed out with turnovers. It's not like the Roo of old where he'd take 6 contested marks a game or he'd do the miraculous once every quarter - yes...'spoonfed' chances gone wasted!!

Overall effort for whole game and considering this stage of Roo's career it was serviceable but efficiency let him down. That is all.

Yes, very very disappointing.
