Ben McEvoy's foot? !!

Post: # 1366398Post Eastern »

I suspect that Benny is carrying some sort of serious foot injury. Struggled to run, struggled to jump and when he tried to kick the ball it looked like he couldn't feel his foot (jabbed up?) !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

yeah you'd have to think something is up. One of his strengths is his endurance and coverage of the ground but he looks shot.

We like to make a lot of excuses for our players.

He's had a poor year, if he's sore this week then fine - but what of most of his year? Has his fingers been sore? That's why he can't tap it effectively to our players?

I swear he pinpoints more opposition midfielders than our own.

I thought you were going to say his foot was attached to his leg, and anchored firmly to the ground, especially in ruck contests....

To be fair, he's always struggled to jump.
McEvoy's tap work has to get better if he's going to become an AFL standard ruckman. I know his work around the ground is pretty good, but he's there primarily for his height in the ruck. He's not agile and nimble enough to play any other position.

He needs the coaches foot stuck fair up his backside - if he is injured he should be playing!

If he's injured, even the slightest bit, there is absolutely no sense in playing him

Alternate stanley n hickey in the ruck/forward, bring in kosi if u need too
