Absolutely stunned, if he gets suspended it will prove how bad the game has become

Wow. Umpires get a bit carried away on the field! Surely he can't go for that considering all the ones that have gone to the match review and gotten off in recent weeks.

He should be right.... Since they changed the rules mid season?

Then again, he's not a Buddy, from a protected club?

I am not completely sure?

And I am NOT allowed to make a comment as it comes across as a DEFINITIVE or CATEGORICAL statement.

So to appease my many antagonists (like JB) I add a ? To indicate lack of surety ....

Changed the rules mid season? Read it like Ron Burgandy

He was clearly contesting the footy and had no intention to bump the player.
If he played for any other club he'd get off...

But under rule 1873.1966.01 he will be assessed as:
Intentional conduct (3), severe impact (4), high contact (2) for a total of nine activation points and will be referred straight to the tribunal.

Rough Conduct: Negligent, low impact, high contact - level 1 - 125 demerit points, can plead down to a reprimand OR might be withdrawn. Bit of a borderline decision.

How the hell was that a bump? They were both heads down going for the ball and crashed into each other.

Healy suggested so. Says a bit about Healy.

I didn't know that there was even a free kick in that. Maybe he thought he hit him so hard it $%#ed up his surname.

Weller cleared. No realistic alternative. Dawson Simpson also cleared. Who did he hit?

Got Webster as he kicked in the 2nd (??) qtr. Webster made the most of it, just a hip and shoulder.

Very surprised Simpkin didnt get a looked at, he hit Taylor with his head over the ball, Taylor went off dazed but came back on, we've seen lesser hits get weeks....

Two men collide, both going for the football. Neither raise an elbow or forearm. Absolutely no malice from either player, who both put nothing but their bodies on the line. One comes off second best. The man still on his feet gets reported.

Mickey Mouse stuff. The umpire should have been reported by one of his colleagues for wasting everyone's time. I couple of weeks in the Magoos for that umpire should be enough for him to contemplate why on earth he made such a rash decision. Tone it down, Ump!

Im unsure, no sorry totally sure an umpire should not get dropped for reporting a player and it ens up to be incorrect.
