Only precautionary according to the Sun.
"Siposs, who has played 28 AFL matches since being drafted at the end of 2010, jarred his left shoulder — the joint he has had reconstructed — during a training drill.
The Saints don’t believe he has seriously injured the shoulder but are taking a safety-first approach with the 22-year-old and will send him home to start any rehabilitation required."

Great interview with Luke Dunstan, he sounded pretty stuffed after the training.
Congratulations to him on inheriting the #7 from Lenny.

Has anyone seen Jack Steven?? Is he over there??
I haven't seen him in any of the NZ ads / Saints videos posted thus far. I'd want him to be going 100% this year after his injuries in 2014.

Newnes joined teammates Jack Steven, Arryn Siposs, Josh Bruce and keen golfer Sam Fisher to test out the fairways.

The Saints returned to Melbourne on Saturday following their gruelling 10-day camp across the Tasman.
The players, who didn’t have a day off during their intense overseas program, each clocked up over 100km through skills sessions, sprints and hiking.
In an attempt to establish the team’s game plan into the younger players, as well as build a base fitness, the training sessions were hours longer than usual.
“It’s tough. These guys are doing boxing at 5am then they’re training on the track then they’re off doing hill runs in the afternoon,” Finnis told 3AW.

JACK Newnes has blitzed the club’s third 2km time trial at Casey Fields this morning, finishing ahead of Josh Saunders and new recruit Dan McKenzie who came second and third respectively.
Newnes has been at the front of the pack in each athletic drill of the pre-season and has shown stamina and endurance to lead St Kilda’s younger brigade of midfielders through a challenging period.
although according to Fox/ herald sun we have a new player

If Spencer White was 100% fit today - then coming last in a 2 km trial doesnt bode well for his AFL future!

How big is Bailey Rice?
He's got Deano's short legs, but he still looks bigger than McCartlin!
How good is he?
Is he going to be on board with us?

Somebody had to come in last and you wouldn't expect it to be a mid-fielder. Full-forwards don't really need the same tank. Can you imagine how far behind Plugger would have been?
Lets see how he goes in the pre-season games.

Fitness trials are one thing, but what goes on above the shoulders on match day is the actual test. We had a lot of very fit young blokes running around in season 2014 who couldn't get their hands on the football.
