Not sure how Acres isn't getting a gig . Surely he comes in and gets a good run at it, a level above VFL standard. Goddard looks like he will be awesome down back

Why would any coach do that to any player? I want him to play when there is spot and he deserves it.

There was a telling moment in the 35-point win over the Casey Scorpions at Casey Fields. After a run of four straight behinds - and a history of wayward kicking and inaccuracy costing them games as recently as last week - a set shot from Mitch Brown finally prevailed and the march to victory occurred.

If that is the case that is extremely disappointing as that comp isn't much better than C or B grade Ammos. Im sure he was very disappointed being dropped but he needs to be better than that.

AS coolly as he kicked goals in the AFL, Sandringham coach Paul Hudson analysed the match quarter by quarter and was chuffed with all four.

They came together as a pleasing whole.

In the first term, his team held back Casey Scorpions when they had the wind whistling to the entrance end of Casey Fields on Saturday.

In the second, the Zebras slipped clear with six goals to three.

In the third they defended strongly again. “Put on the strangle,’’ Hudson called it.

And in the fourth they built on everything that came before it, despite a fit of early points.

It all added up to a 35-point victory that evened Sandringham’s season at 2-2.

The visitors’ approach to their task was encapsulated in the final quarter, when they had the match in their keeping.

As he stood at the interchange area waiting to come back on the ground, Hugh Goddard shouted for his teammates in the backline to “man up’’.

The first-year St Kilda player was still wanting to take care of business and tossed his head back in disappointment when a Scorpion slipped clear to mark

Saunders stiff not to get a mention... Curren BOG for mine though.

Acres will also be a player.

Paddy is a fair bit off AFL level at the moment and seems to be lacking confidence but there is a lot to work with.

Ditto for me.
I forgot to record it.

Scanned the guide - I don't think they repeat it on 7 mate?

It seems that Freeview only shows dramas etc. - no sport.
Why is that?

Anyway any link to the game would be much appreciated.
