Essendon probably got a little sniff of what is required to win and have the better 3rd quarter record so we need to continue to take the risks to get clear for sustained good forward work.
Nick needs to get into this game too. Has been quiet in the quarter.
Goddard, Zaharakis and Watson have low stats. I doubt if this will continue from all three so expect a tougher second half.
Now need to reform the confidence and discipline to the team game plan.

And then Essendon player does the same (didn't pass it back correctly) and weren't penalised? Umpire consistency sucks as per normal.

Happened to us only 5 minutes later on our f50 line. No 50. Kingy mentioned it at the time.

I know Nick gets annoyed about players not kicking to him but Armo is right to insist he leads more central. Nick has spent way too much time leading to pockets over his career.

Why is it that Saints lead in nearly all stats including contested footy but frees still favour Essendon? Don't we pay frees anymore when making the play? AFL need to look at these blody idiots.
