Rice has more skill, but is more a quarterback defender and is very slow

I just finished watching the Sandi replay as well.

I was impressed with Sinclair, Templeton, Lonie, White, Coughlan, McKenzie, Rice & OKearney.

Billings got big stats and is an elite user but I cant remember him winning one contested ball himself. Is there something wrong with him he just has no urgency and he even looked slow in the VFL. If he isnt carrying an injury he needs to spend some time back at Sandi and refind his hunger to play the game. At this rate he is a long long way off making the elite midfielder the Saints hoped for.

On that games basis I would have all of the above more likely to make AFL midfielders than JB...

Essendons 23rd man Naish Holmes played a ripper I cant believe he didnt get recruited last year. Will get picked up this year on that game alone!

He can get some distance but Mckenzies kicking is a bit up and under for mind I just don't want another Geary type bombing it out of the back half. We want to keep possession.

Webster almost fights out of his weight divisions as he's so tough and brave but just doesn't have a big body.
