Re: Bulldogs vs swans
Great game. The story will be how good the Bulldogs are but incredible effort by the Swans considering Newman, Hayward, Florent, Fox and Marsh have basically never played.

Plus this year Cloke is an upgrade on Boyd for them, and at a fraction of the cost.

Let's get their rugby coach...
never seen so many obvious throws go unpunished.
Love Caleb Daniel & Easton Wood.
Love their coaches licence to take game on--he is the complete anti-Lyon.

It was free kick Scraggers last year too, bigcarl wrote:This year it's free kick Bulldogs
all the commentators were all loved up on the Bulldogs!
Leading into the finals, that's all the mouthpieces were talking about- "could the fairytale come true" blah blah blah
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Bulldogs vs swans
Didn't work tonight as the weather prevented trucks from bringing our load in so turned the footy on. Very nearly saw the cup being paraded pre game but managed to turn telly off quickly. still can't believe they won the flag. And I still have no idea who won the NS lol
watched the first qtr then went to bed and checked on my phone mainly for fantasy scores. Good comeback by Swans but to no avail

What's with the run the Bulldogs are getting??
Started last year, its worse it seems
Sydney were raped in the GF, were crucified last night??
And I thought they were cracking down on dodgy HBs

The Bullies were lucky last year. The guy who stood on buddy's foot won them a grandfinal.

Re: Bulldogs vs swans
We got our fair share of good press in '96/'97 and '09 too, we just can't seem to capitalise on our chances. Still have to take the hat off to the Doggies for arriving at a GF, deciding '54 was history and they were taking it home...must have been hard enough for them to get over 7 prelim losses in a row!WellardSaint wrote:Leading into the finals, that's all the mouthpieces were talking about- "could the fairytale come true" blah blah blah

Sydney were utterly robbed, Bulldogs seem to be allowed to throw when under pressure.BigMart wrote:What's with the run the Bulldogs are getting??

Alir Alir was crucified! Three goals to dogs from rubbish frees against him. And what was that free for rushed in the goal square about?

Re: Bulldogs vs swans
There has been a lot of talk of other teams winning this year. Swans, GWS, etc, but I think the dogs are still the team to beat. They never give up! Very very tough to beat and we know it stands up in finals.
