I love finals. Especially when teams I hate lose.
But I was told Sydney were premiers by the media hacks.
They will all start gushing about Girlong now.
I wonder if Longeran will eat some more dodgy food to give Rhys another game

Actually, I will be curious, should GWS win tonight, how they will go when they play in front of something they never have before next week. A crowd.
As for last night, good tactics threw Sydney completely off balance, hope Richo was taking notes.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Most of the finals have been no contests which has been disappointing.
John Longmire was comprehensively outcoached last night - plan B or C anyone??

It's an embarrassment for the AFL. A team created purely for TV ratings have a crowd for a final that would be an embarrassment for a home and away game.
Can't watch them on TV as there's more atmosphere at my local league fame.

A huge embarrassment. The Giants could have at least made an effort to fill their stadium. Even if it meant giving away tickets for free.

West Coast are the embarrassment here, at this rate it could be a 100 point loss against a side decimated by injuries and their best players are in their 40's.
The sooner GWS win a flag the better, then more talent will be happy leave Frankensteins nest after achieving "the ultimate success"

Can't think of a hollower final.
If it wasn't for Stevie J kicking a bag there would've been absolutely no feeling here.

What a fkn joke.
Lowest finals crowd since world war one apparently.
Bloody disgrace.
+ All finals have been comfortable wins or thrashings so far (except for the extra time, kick after the siren, game of course).
This year the top 4 are the last 4 remaining.

Whenever we get a crowd this low at Jihad Stadium, the AFL tightens its screws on the club that hosted the match.
Heads should bloody well roll after this debacle!

Apparently Josh Kelly likes to play in front of tiny crowds with people golf clapping his team. What a buzz for his career!

Hopefully there will be 90K at the G next Saturday.
All Tigers fans and all pissed as farts.
The noise should destroy the Giants. I hope the crowd goes feral and sticks their finger up at Gil and the AFL.
I and I'd love the Giants to get pansted big time

Let's see how he goes next week when they have some opposition. Weagles barely turned up. And the crowd.......14,685. Reflection of what a hollow, franchised, marketing driven shell GWS is. Reflection of where the game is at really. Have to say I'm losing interest to some extent.

Richmond are big favourites in a home final at the G. But they will have played only one game in four weeks. If they think they have this game won and are off even 1%, they're toast.

Lowest finals crowd since the 1916 Collingwood v Fitzroy first semi-final blockbuster at the MCG.
Only 9690 were there to watch Fitzroy win, presumably with a team made up of guys too young or too old to be fighting in France.
How
embarrassment
for the AFL.
