There was a time when you would have said this guy could kick for your life
Now - running into goal - 20 metres in the clear - 60 metres out - one opponent running to cut him off.
Every other player in the league would feign a shot - sidestep and run another 10 or 15 and nail the f@rking thing but not our Members
Manages to c**k the whole thing up and not even register a score!
Something smells of coaching or a complete lack of confidence here - this is a simple skill that every player could and would and should do

The majority slide right. Exactly the same kick. Go back over his set shots this year... A lot of them are eerily similar. That points to technique or routine IMO.
Has Members tried to change up his routine in the last 18 months?? If so, why try fix what wasnt broken??
Newnes kicked well for goal last night. I wonder if he's had much 'coaching' this year.....

I think he actually needs to stop listening to the voice in his head.
He is actually playing quite well, he just needs to nail 2 in row and he’ll be fine.

Our goal kicking has got beyond a joke. It's to the point that you can almost sense the panic as they enter the 50m arc. No-one wants to take the shot. There were some really clean entries last night that were just completely ballsed up.
Collingwood couldn't have done anymore to gift us that game. They were terrible as well. Right now, we are simply an appalling footy side. Every other side seems to be showing something (except maybe Carlton) We are trying hard but we are terrible. It's almost unwatchable
