One positive
There will be some interest in next weeks game between 2 teams that are terminal. There will be be lots of said and written this week about the Saints but regardless of the outcome of next weeks game we fast becoming an irrelevance.

One positive. We could be one step closer to change. The footy department is running out of excuses and pulling the wool over everyones eyes.

If we’re bad enough for long enough the AFL will be forced to bail us out like they did with Melbourne.
I’m not a fan of any sort of socialism, really, but this is for a good - albeit - lost - cause.

AFL is already bailing us out and they are getting sick of it. Did'nt Mclachlan give the club an ultimatum about 2 months. It was reported in the sun. Would love to see that squib sitting in the stands at metricon this weekend. Whats the chances?

Yes, Jillian did give us a rev up, but if the downward spiral continues long enough and tragically enough, she’ll be forced to act. In the sense that she is the custodian of the AFL teat.
