Richo on Lonie
Pretty funny!
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

He sure is great.
Just a Super coach extracting every last drop out of our list... he's also fascinating to listen to, he would be incredible to have dinner with.

Re: Richo on Lonie
So Jack thinks he is 201cm and 137kg. No wonder he wanted 2 years. Must be so confused as to why he is not rucking. Seriously but, its all going in the right direction for him and the club's support looks like paying off nicely. With his time trial he should be able to exhaust a few backmen and create lots of opportunities.

Re: Richo on Lonie
Lonie is one of the few players who I think the coaches have handled brilliantly.
Earned his chances with good form, given up to 3 games to get it together... dropped but allowed to fight his way back.
He seems to have responded positively to it too.
I would have preferred that they signed him sooner but good o

Re: Richo on Lonie
I wonder who Richo sees when he looks in the mirror?
Hopefully it’s Leigh Matthews and not Mark Neeld.

Re: Richo on Lonie
I think Lonie is going to have a more consistent year. Ratta will help him take charge of his game.

Re: Richo on Lonie
Serious question Ted.
You have stated Richo is a ripper and Saints don't have a bottom 4 list.
We had a horrendous 2018, where do you think the issues lie as it is obviously not the head coach or list in your opinion.

That's like asking the Libs the reason they got rid of Malcolm

I think a lot of the issues were covered well by a poster in the "Ross the Boss" thread.... let's see ... it was Joffa Burns.Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Mon 12 Nov 2018 9:30amSerious question Ted.

I do agree though that Richo is under pressure and will do very well to still be coach in 2020. But good moves are taking place around him.

Re: Richo on Lonie
Never said Richo was a "ripper." Still think he's a good coach (despite the win/loss record and its not a fair marker given where he started), but he will find it very hard to keep his job if he the club has an ordinary season. All you can do is back him for 2019. Lets see what happens and the assistants and other appointments might work some magic.
As for Malcolm...thank god that piece of jelly got the sack. He's about as strong and reliable as a piece of 1 metre balsa wood.
