14 clearances (I think) today. And some on here STILL want him dropped. Go figure!
They have no idea Trev. Lukey is a clearance machine. I would like to see him and Hanners side by side. Also along with Steele's tackling and Gresham's pace.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.
Total = 1.
20 possies, went at 85% efficiency
95 fantasy points equal with Ross
8 clearances, 7 stoppage, 1 centre clr
no 1%, strangely
4 tackles
n.b. Nathan Brown was king of the 1% with 13, same as Casboult

Good on him.
A month ago he was a Sandringham hack.
Now he looks almost A grade.

Been good for a few weeks now. Can play and does it on a low amount of minutes.
Everyone says it's due to endurance... if this confirmed? What if it's for team balance?
Time on ground, 85% i think.
If he's in the middle, and at clearances, of course he needs a breather.
One thing I like about him, is I don't recall any gasps or 'oh no, Luke, why!' but i do with Acres, Ross, and a lot of others.

He was great, certainly hope he's eligible for next week!
Dunstan has been great. As has Ross and Acres, despite criticism on this forum of all three.
Guess some posters have to have a whipping boy though.
Luke certainly leaves nothing out there. I guess all three of these blokes have one glaring deficiency each that seems to stick out. FWIW I reckon Ross looks to be trying to rectify how he delivers the footy inside 50 lately, seems more measured the last couple of weeks. I love their work though and expect them to improve more

You're right about Dunny...interesting that a couple posters have got all frothy over his whipping boys status, yet no-one on here has stated he was anything but excellent yesterday. Some people just love a bit of hysteria, don't they?
Ross obviously needs to stay, but he is absolutely burning us with his disposal. As for 'Lazy Arces'...the less said the better.

That forearm he accidently laid that got him reported, would have been his 1%er had he hit the ball. Missed be a millisecond.

I noticed a change in Ross from the first JLT, where he took his time and tried to kick to advantage, rather than
do his favourite Auskick big bomb in hope.
He's thinking more about his kicks, he only fluffs a few, so he has improved.
The strange behaviour of our forwards hides the effectiveness of Ross and Luke, because if more of their entries
resulted in goals, they would then be involved in scoring chains.
But our forward play reduces their impact.

He has been good since he came back in.
IIRC he got dropped I think last year (maybe the year before?) and came back with the same fire.
He seems to respond well to being challenged in this way, which is a really good sign I think. He very much seemed like the coach's pet in his first 2-3 years when I don't think he got dropped ever.

The other stat I'd love to know for Dunny, from this game especially, would be his metres gained
It was terrific to see Luke get clearances and drive a fast low penetrating kick that went deep inside 50 (unlike the high up and unders which give oppo teams time to spoil). It made their backmen panic and we scored multiple goals from his clearance work.

Could have got a goal too, only Greash ignored him running past only for his shot on goal falling short.
Very selfish at times our Greash where the goals are concerned.
Saw that too...but on the other hand, I'm constantly disappointed our players don't back themselves in when shooting for goal. I know these guys run all day, but a 40m punt shouldn't fall short really. The worst sin was there being absolutely no-one in the goal square, the Blues player marking it in the middle of the RH point with absolutely no competition.
