How quickly they forget!
Was an absolute favourite of mine
Think it was 2 goals with his first two kicks yesterday

Re: lazy 4 to Josh B
Is still a favorite of mine, would have loved to see him in a better functioning forward line for us. I will still be following his career and hoping his career can hit new heights...except when playing us.terry smith rules wrote: ↑Sun 08 Mar 2020 11:25amHow quickly they forget!

Josh who ?
What short memories some people have we will miss his 30 goals plus a season.
Who will be kicking those for us Marshall Ryder King perhaps Membery .
Of those only Membery who will struggle aginst a no 1 defender..

Re: lazy 4 to Josh B
I think in the end it was Josh taking the best deal for himself, we weren't offering 4 years and based on his age, a four year deal provides security probably to the end of his career.Junction Oval wrote: ↑Sun 08 Mar 2020 12:42pm I still don't fully understand that transfer. We wanted to keep him and could have kept him but the the Bulldogs were the only club willing to outbid us based on a very specific and urgent need.

Re: lazy 4 to Josh B
i have a bit of a soft spot for the doggies actually
(bit like us)
‘n good on em if they can threaten their trophy cabinet again
even though josh was a personal fave
he’s not with us any more
‘n Members will actually mark the pill
instead of flat handing it to ground
Members is gunna have a huge year imo
with the giraffe ‘n ryder/marshall combo
needing serious attention
someone is gunna get off the leash
‘n that someone aint josh who

I wish josh all the best, let’s not forget it’s a pre season game so let’s not get too excited too early.
What we brought in trade wise plus having max king already on the list players like Bruce and Steven will be a distant memory soon enough.

TonesareSaintsational said we didn’t want him. Didn’t say exactly why though.Secret Kiel wrote: ↑Sun 08 Mar 2020 1:18pmI think in the end it was Josh taking the best deal for himself, we weren't offering 4 years and based on his age, a four year deal provides security probably to the end of his career.Junction Oval wrote: ↑Sun 08 Mar 2020 12:42pm I still don't fully understand that transfer. Re: lazy 4 to Josh B
Not everyone thought so.
From afl.com.au
"Carlton skipper Patrick Cripps and young gun Sam Walsh generated plenty of possession in the first half and recruits in former Gold Coast runner Jack Martin and ex-Saint Jack Newnes were also influential.

Re: lazy 4 to Josh B
King, with a bit more composure, could have had 4. And he was not lazy about it - lol!
Josh, thank you lad, you were needed when you arrived and served the R,W&B well, but the future is Max.

Re: lazy 4 to Josh B
We have Battle and Marsh in reserve for forward spots. Battle needs to be our CHF.
I'd like to see
Lonie Marsh Membrey
King Battle Butler
With Gresh Billings Marshall Ryder all being rotated through. Hind also will get a run at some stage.
Let King run up and down the ground a bit and be a link up player.
Don't know why but I really think Marsh could be a player . Kicked 3 yesterday in VFL and was a standout apparently. He can play.
