I struggle to see it as a 'contest' with this level of umpiring ineptitude no matter how hard Bruce huffs and puffs.

He’s up against a gun opponent as are his teammates upfield.
Absolutely and far be it for me to put it all on him...
But the dropped easy marks and the bad shot are what I’m talking about opposed to the lack of miracles

Agree. We miss Gresham badly.
