Billings injury free.

He is over his foot injury which required a weekly jab in the second half of the season and will play mainly half-forward according to Mitch Cleary.

Wouldn't it be great to see him have a cracker of a year?

I think he's been injured since round 6, 2020. The first five rounds he was in career best form and after that he was running through treacle right up until round 23 this year.

I hope he goes into 2022 in the best possible physical condition and sends his detractors packing

A fit JB is a big positive.
His best mate Sinclair has stepped up, he will surely be desperate to emulate that

That's OK - just as long as he doesn't emulate his haircut

Just like Hanners, I hope JB has a ripping year and kicks 40 goals for the year.

Our forward line is much more powerful if either Gresham or Billings play primarily as a forward . With Gresham probably the better of the two in the midfield, happy for Billings to take that half forward role - at his best, a much greater threat than Kent or the now-departed Lonie.

Billings Membrey Butler
Marshall King Higgins

Sharman as the 7th forward, when Marshall goes on the ball.

Absolutely agree. And I’m one of his detractors

I like your line up except Sharman has already proven himself better than Marshall up forward.

Billings is a great HF except he had the yips. I think he is over that.
