Crouch now fits in perfectly in St Kilda's midfield, joining Ross, Gresham & Jones in a quartet of woeful decision makers and equally bad disposal.

If Ratts isn't able to inspire these guys for a really emotional game, is he really the guy that's going to get a premiership out of them?

Membrey is a better backman than him.
Howard is a waste of space. Gives his opponent way too much room. He’s a whinging sook with an appalling attitude.
Howard's playing like that. Would not look out of place as a 4th Division goalie, flapping his arms & blaming others.

Our midfield was completely trounced .... my god do we miss Steele to make walk that little bit taller

The small forward structure needs to be funked off to the cesspit of history

We need another tall back ..... another tall forward ..... another gun mid ..... and a coach who has tactical matchday abilities

Would have thought his role was to DEFEND.

Wright is average and gave him an absolute bath.

Keep cryin’ Curly!

Club can’t admit it but now need to look at 2023.
This year is gone.
Get Clarkson and get Riewoldt involved.
Put Marshall out and get him right.
Also time to give up on Butler,

Don’t you know.. it’s the umpires fault that Dougal “The Scarecrow” Howard doesn’t have a brain.

It's no wonder we get so easily enamoured with Owens & Windhager, we must fast track these two. Hold our first round draft pick & use it on our NGA. We need a midfield better than this same ol', same ol', slow, inside, one sided, poor disposers.

Interested in what people thought of Clark?

First game back and to me he looks limp and unfit and without intensity

I knew we would play the Bummers into form, we are experts at doing that when other clubs are out of form.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Posters bagging Howard. Seriously? I'd have dozen others in the sights before Dooog.

Specifically Essendon, over the last 25 years

How badly others played doesn’t change how badly he played.

Is he injured, he seems to be labouring a bit.

Howard has to defend the longest kicks in. He hands over when his opponent goes outside 50 and peels back. He’s our leading defensive spoiler for a reason.
