Max is teetering on the edge of being officially labelled a draft selection failure with regards to him being selected by the club as a marquee power forward who a team can be built around.

That's not to mean he can't just continue to be a serviceable GOP but if that's all he remains then it's just another draft selection to impact the already very lengthy rebuild.

And at some stage if it becomes painfully obvious Max is not suited to the number one key forward role then the club will have to enter the hunt for a player who can take that role on.

In the mean time I think he should he trialled in the Ruck or backline.

I actually think RTB is starting to lose patience with him as well.

North Melbourne have conceded 100 points or more in every game this year, and average just 71 points a game.

We average 73 points a game.

North have have actually kicked more goals than us in 2024.

We need to score 80+ in my opinion. We've only done that once in our last 9 games.

Twice, we did it in the Elimination Final too. I agree though, we should be trying to not just kick 100 points, but to pile on 20 goals.

We've played Geelong at Geelong. Collingwood at the MCG, the Giants in Canberra and Port Adelaide in Adelaide.

North have played the Hawks, Crows in Tassie, and the Gold Coast Suns. Bit of a difference in pressure there.

I think we will be fired up today - we have lost the last three games, and two of them against decent opposition with a bit of luck we might've stolen.

Given Tassie already have a team promised now, nobody will be relocating.
More likely to fold or merge to keep the clubs at 18 unless the AFL can find a 20th team PDQ.
