Obviously involves beating Richmond but looking at the different senerios I believe we should barrack for Adelaide to -night and hope like Hell that Collingwood beat them at Telstra next week...wouldn't be confident that Geelong will have an incentive to beat Brisbane at the Gabba in the last round prior to the first week of finals. We definately need Brisbane out of the equasion.
Alternatively if Sydney beat Collingwood we would be barracking for Adelaide and would replace Collingwood in the 8 ..how good would that be!
Sad it is now out of our hands but now we can only concentrate on what we have to do and keep everything crossed!!!
We will know exactly who to barrack for next week this Sunday night

Thinline.Post 09 Grand final.
Im more confident that Geelong could beat Brisbane!!
Collingwood are not traveling very well at the moment and I think Adelaide will beat them next week.. I thibk we should cheer on Brisbane & hope like hell the cats can beat them next week!!
Is there any way a game can be called off without either team getting points or a replay.
I'm thinking maybe a massive brawl before the bounce which leaves all 44 Brisbane and Adelaide players knocked out for three hours.

I tend to agree St Pat...
Geelong are home and hsoed....while Im sure they will want to win goign into finals campaign...........a desperate Collingwood that HAS to win playing an ageing Adelaid side here in Melb just maybe tougher...
I havent alltogether discounted a Hird/Sheedy miracle in the west out also.......we had the Eagles beaten last night....
ahh.........all we had to do was stand up.....f@rk I hate this scenario..
To make matters worse Anthony Rocca just smashed Adam Goodes across the face in a marking duel. The spoil was very late and copped him right across the chops
With Rocca's record I would think he wont be playing for a few weeks
One less collingwood foward Adelaide have to contend with

Not sure if you have looked at the ladder but we cannot replace the pies so we cannot support Adelaide in any way unless you want us out of the 8.
Hawks will play sydney for the chance of top 4
collingwood could be also playing for a top 4 spot depending on other games
Surpisingly if essendon pull off the upset of the year and both sydney and adelaide lose they could make it. Both them and us would make it!
Such a wierd season!
