Mis-spent part of my youth at the twenty-worst. Frankston has improved a long way since those days.
Those were days of car-chases, knife-fights, fights full stop and extra-ordinary amounts of drug consumption. There were a disproportionate number of young single mothers in the area, and class was a movie title or something that most students skipped. Crime was prevalent, particularly vehicle theft, vehicle parts theft, house-breaks, and assault. The transformation of the central shopping area and the beachfront is quite dramatic (I drove through not long ago and was very surprised).
The only negative in recent times was the need to be in the emergency area of the hospital late at night with a small child. What came and went during our time there leaves me speechless.

Just getting a bit tired of all the "Frankston" jokes from people who have never been there. Have lived in the area virtually all my life & travel to the city on a daily basis. Have never once been in fear of my life or been concerned that my car may be stolen. I used to park at Frankston Station. I think quite a few people on here will need to eat their words over the next few years.
I don't live in Frankston, but have been there a few times in trhe last few years and its not that bad of a place, it seems a nice clean area.
Every place has its issues. Try hanging around in my neck of the woods after dark, the main street of Belgrave has about 4 pubs and a nice, quiet suburb can get as rough as any inner city one if the mood takes the locals.
i dont think i have ever been in the suburb frankstone in my whole life! so i cant say bad things about it, but i have heard bad things about it!
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
Only been to Frankston once, and that was when I was a little kid so I cant really comment much, even though I've heard a lot of things about Frankston being a bogan town. It surely cant be worse than some of the suburbs in the western suburbs, out where I live.

Put it simply, wogs who act like dickheads are called muzzas.
