Will we make the top 8?

Post: # 582501Post battye »

I think it would be a good effort if we could make the final 8 from the position we are in, but I'm not convinced we will unless we win a few on the trot, and soon.

9th-10th for me. We'll be the new Richmond, if we keep going the way we are at present. Will need to turn it around quick.

Looks like I'm the only one who has said yes thus far. Win more games than Carlton and North (and Port) for the rest of the year, and we're in.. ask me after Round 14.

NM has a horror run home - i think we can make it - but NM is a better team than us - shows up the lack of fairness in the draw!

No.

But even if we did, today proves we are third rate side and would have no hope of making it past week 1 of the finals.

We went into the season with expectations of a Prelim or better.
Now we are just a rabble.

Odds for Premiership

Post: # 606261Post spyglass »

Did anyone get on us a few weeks ago when we were paying $101? We are now paying $13. I got on at $61 - not saying we'll win but the odds were too tempting :) I also got on us making the 8 a number of times around the $2.40 - $2.60 mark - at least that should pay.

Would love Carlscum to beat the Swans today though as that will really help us for a run at top 4 - which I think is a reall possability now looking at all the draws.
