So....improved?

Post: # 627087Post bigred »

Good win today.

Been a frustrating year to say the least.

Question...We have qualified for the finals.

Should this be seen as an improvement on last year?

What are our expectations?

I believe we should win at least one final....

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....

No we've underachieved.
We should have been top 4 as we have a top 4 list.

Lost three 'should win' games....and have won a couple of 'unexpected wins' therefore we are about one win from where we should be......

We have played some woeful footy, and some brilliant play.....and even during games we are inconsistent.....

Our best is the second best in the AFL.......Our worst is the 15th best....so about 6th/7th sounds about right...

That we don't lose another game.

Have we improved?

Bloody oath. Chalk and cheese to earlier in the season, and despite what the W/L says, much improved to this time last year.

We can still improve a lot but it's nice to be getting some players back in form.

Agreed.

Think we are 7 from the last 9, but with some really convincing wins - Carlton, Hawthorn, North, Fremantle, Adelaide.

Have definitely improved.

Plus, we hit the gorund with a healthy list this year, unlike 2006 when we carried a few underdone players into the finals.

Short answer... yes.

The lid is off after Round 2! Enjoy the journey, coz you just don't know where we'll end up. Live for today and seize the moment.
