Ok lets be positive..
Before the weekend who would have thought that BOTH the Pies and North would lose.
WE are now odds on to finish fifth with a home final and a draw where we would not play the Cats till the GF.
The Dogs may not have won.....but it is still a marvelous result anyway
If the Lions can win....it will be even better.
Otherwise the Pies at a packed MCG is not too shabby anyway.
Lets give the finals a big shake. GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would love to see that.....and Harvs play his last game at the MCG (but not in Week 1 of the finals!).
Is that too much too ask for?

Thats right. Be positive. We will beat Collingwood or Swans. Im not scared of Adelaide over there. Then its just one more win and a grand final. Although my optimism stops there.

We didn't want to show Geelong our hand early anyway.
We just have to win our next 5 games. Simple really.
I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

I'm up for it.
Can't believe how many crap threads are appearing about tanking, scenarios, and who'll be the easiest opponents.
Don't care who we play TBH. 10 weeks age we were talking rebuilds, backwards, sack the coach.
Just chill everyone and enjoy the journey.
If we are good enough, we'll beat anyone anywhere.
Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The lid is off after Round 2! Enjoy the journey, coz you just don't know where we'll end up. Live for today and seize the moment.

If we ever want to win the Big One, we better get used to playing at the G.

I reckon if we manage to win our way to a grand final - anything could happen. We can count on Robert Harvey playing the game of his LIFE for one thing - if a few other boys stand up, we could do it.
But getting there is the key. To get there form fifth would be a phenomenal effort. I think this year is the first year EVER where any team in the top eight could win the flag from whatever position. They have all showed flashes of brilliance and disappointment (except Geelong who only show brilliance) It basically comes down to who (if anyone) can beat Geelong.
