friggin hell plugger that couldnt have been more simply explained. 
if ya using a normal pc or lappie....go and download a program called u torrent.
then find a torrent site, a good aussie sports one was posted the other day by someone: (fr33dom, i believe)
find an interesting errrr 'item' that u would like to errr 'see'...click on it.
somewhere after clicking on it u will see a tab or bar to click again that usually says 'download this torrent'.
when u do that it will open a small download dialogue box on ya pc (youll see it pop up (will only take a few secs) then automatically another box will open (its sub box for the u torrent program, which is the 'info/item' grabber)
click ok and youll see the main u torrent box open and it be downloading (youll see it all in there)
when ya on the torrent website (which ever one u are looking thru for the 'item' u want) youll see two words: seeders & leachers.
a seeder is someone who has the torrent on their pc.
so... say mr blonde has uploaded the 'item' to the site, mr blue comes along and decides he would like that 'item' and does the above process i mentioned.
he is now a leacher, because he is 'sucking' (for want of a better word) it from mr blonde.
when mr blue has got the item, he is now a seeder...so there is two of them (mr blonde AND mr blue)
along comes mr pink and decides, like mr blue did that he would like the said 'item'......he does the first process above and becomes a leacher, but this time he is getting it from mr blonde and mr blue, he gets bits of the item from both of them, once he is done there are 3 seeders...
the process goes on.
so, the more seeders the better, u want a higher amount of seeders than leachers, this will mean u get it quicker...if there is 15 leachers and only two seeders, its obviously gonna take longer.
on the site u are getting the item from, (eg fr33dom) it might say seeds and then leachers or it might be just a # in green (for seeds) and a # in red (for leachers).
the way i see it...."they" can see every page u click on, everything u watch or listen to online, every porn page or flower arranging site that u visit.....and they can shut down ANY site at ANY time if they wished, after all the net was developed by them in the first place.
although they have just passed a law in the uk i think that basically means ya stuffed if they catch or see or here of u 'filesharing' (torrenting) stuff that has a copyright (which 99% of stuff does)
should be clear as mud
next we'll move on too rapidshare downloading and warez forums using extracting and compressing......LOL

ive jumped in the queue...
rather slow, only around 30-40kbs...but ill leave it seeding once im done for at least 5 or 6 days unlimited to help everyone else out

i even missed out out on copying it from foxtel today. changed my foxtel yesterday to have the sports. but they muckled it up and it won't be changed until tomorrow . some error message with telstra!Animal Enclosure wrote:I had the download going for a few hours but it still had 5 days to go!

Mines going very slow at the moment. Being downloading most of today and only at 6%. I appreciate everyone seeding, especially over the next 5 days because it looks like I'll need it
