Eddy out - Birss in

IF Ball is ok

C Gardiner out - (also depends on Blake) Im yet to see C Gardiner back up an appearance with a good game.

Correct - Eddy, 2nd to the football & no iniative when he had it.
Birss has more composure and hurts more offensively than Eddy.

i'm fairly certain ball wont be fit. radio said he was 50-50. thats not a good sign

for mine, raph was pretty good today, considering how inept the whole side was. definitely nowhere near our worst.

Eddy was WAY out of his depth, not up to AFL let alone a final against the cats. Fumbled all day, and missed a shepherd on the wing that was blatantly obvious.

X was simply shocking. should never have been brought in, however i thought that given the opportunity he would have attacked the game with a bit of ferocity to prove he's still got it. unfortunately he was soft as butter, he has the strength of a 14 yr old, cannot hold a mark or stick a tackle. he needs to be delisted.

This week:
IN: Birss, Allen, Armo (assuming ball not fit)
OUT: X, Charlie, Eddy

however, with blake going down, may need gwilt to go back to cover him, therefore charlie would probs be retained.

No need for bulk changes...it would only disrupt...and the Pies are not the Cats...though we still need to play well to win.

No 1 lack......a genuine mid...so Ball if fit comes in... however he may not be. If Ball is a no, then consider Armo.

Birrs was stiff to miss....and should come back in...

Charlie and Gwilt......one is surplus....or maybe Allen.. But has Allen shown enough???

M Gardiner was in our best and reports on him were positive....so against the Pies would be a good chance.

Eddy was ok today and I'm glad they played X because he will be better for the run. Today was always going to be about finding out where we were at.

For mine, C Gardiner gives us nothing when the going gets tough.

Outs: C Gardiner, Blake (inj)
Ins: Birss, Ball

Let's be honest... we won't win the flag.

Time to drop Kosi, Dal and see who can play.

Can't do much worse than we did today.. and no way we'll beat them in GF.

Call me a realist.

The lid is off after Round 2! Enjoy the journey, coz you just don't know where we'll end up. Live for today and seize the moment.

Sad thing is we only have Armitage and probably Birss as guys who deserve a spot next week, and an easy 10 players you could drop!!

Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes.

A fool more like it.

Yeah drop Kosi and Dal when the season is still alive. No need to suggest replacements, anyone will do eh? Great idea, brilliant work!

Out- Blake,injured,C.Gardiner A Mqualter omitted.

In- M.Gardiner,Allen both in the best in the 2s and Ball from injury.

Play X as a tagger if we need one and Kosi at CHB. Allen out of the goal square and only one ruckman on the ground at a time.

Maybe this year?

Kosi not mobile or agile enough for CHB

really struggling.

This is how I would line up against the Pies:

B: Gilbert, Maxie, Kosi.
HB: Gram, Sam F, Goddard.
C: Montagna, Birss, Dal.
HF: Harvs, Riewoldt, Schneids.
F: Milne, Allen, Raph.
R: King, Hayes.
Ro: Ball.
Int: Jones, X.Clarke, Mini, C.Gardner.

In: Allen, Ball and Birss.
Outs: Blake (inj), Eddy and Gwilt.

Try Kosi up back - he can negate the taller Pies forwards, and run straight at the ball. Take some marks and do some strong defensive work for us. He aint firing a shot up forward. Can win with this team.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

It all depends whether Jason Blake comes up.

If Blake is unavailable, selection this week suddenly gets tricky.

Gwilt surely cannot be played back. He is on a forward flank or not in the team for mine.

Pray Bally is fit.

Charlie probably has to go. Dal Santo also had a very poor game for mine.

Lacked another ball-winner in tight - Armo? Could also use some spark, a surprise move - Steven?

CHANGES

IN Ball
OUT Charlie
