Ah well if Sheahan was right then he would have made an announcement that he was joining the Pies. Probably doesn't want to piss the AFL off so he'll just abide by the trade guidelines and go to whoever picks him 1st

*Club not just a football decision - has to find a club with the right environment to keep him fit and healthy

*Every club a possibility

*No guarantees in footy, associated risks with addiction

*If given an opportunity will take it

Choco Williams wishes him all the best, doesnt think going to Adelaide would be the best decision - very much like Perth in that huge focus on just two clubs from two main media sources. Victoria better with more people, more clubs, out of the spotlight.

Tadgh Kenelly - any club would be massively improved from BC9's presence, being able to learn from him and his experiences.

Who the hell is that idiot who interviewed him? Never heard such weak questions.

Do you know what you need to do to tick the boxes for the AFL to allow you to reregister?

Would coming back to a football club help you with your additiocn or hinder you?

FFS who writes these questions. Pathetic interview.

having said that Cousins handled himself reasonably well and given the messages he was giving when all this came to light it sound like he has come a long way.

he sounds as though he has come along was and is genuine in his responses.
no smoke and mirrors, no cliche's.... honest interview answers... except for the questions were a bit lame.

.
Possibly the one factor that may help us is our two year record with MG.

He has been handled well and I am sure would give a good report t Cousins......and also some assurance to Cousins that we would be good for him.

In terms of giving a good report, the flip side is the rumour that MG isnt happy with the club. There were reports he was very disenchanted with being left out of the side for the Freo game at Subi, and subsequently, for the rest of the season.

If this is true, its hard to believe he would give us a good report.

Yes but we did stick by Gardiner after a very dubious 1st year.
I hope that MG doesnt do a dummy spit, afraid he may be feeling agrieved tho.
WE NEED COUSINS. simple as that.

Hamish McLachlan who was involved in the AFL Sensation before it went broke.

Don't hold your breath on waiting for BC's decision.

We probably won't know until the next 6 weeks are over.

No one will know until the December Pre Season Draft when a club calls out his name.

Despite what anyone 'in the know' professes to 'know'.

You have to draft him.
Is he worth a first round pick.
A second round pick , a thrird round pick/or so on?

What would you give up to secure Cousins (Aged 30)

Hope he goes back to West Coast.

Let's face it if we don't get him then I don't want Collingwood getting him!

I think the chances of that are slim to nil.

Kerr seemed to give him a good vote of confidence of returning to the Eagles today... NOT!

Will Kerr care about the Eagles though if he gets enogh dosh to go to Carlton or Collingwood?
