OMG. If ever anyone needed to understand why some posters, including myself, are sick and tired of hearing about what a champ Kosi could be, the above post sums it up. If you're hanging your hat on something that happened 3+ seasons ago, what does that say about what he's delivered since? Dream on.........

kosi
fisher
king
birss
hudghton
etc. etc.

all big blokes that dont back down from it!

good players are hard to come by,
tough players are even harder.

some clubs would just love a hardman.
what won hawthorn the flag was hardness, no more, no less.
if someone wants one of our hardmen then good on'em ..
you cant have what we have, you just cant! it's ours.
we own it,
we come through,
we do to you what you dont want done.

I think you're more interested in how Kosi looks and what a great guy he is than how he plays. Each to their own. And if you're going to put a thread up on a forum it's there for everyone to comment on, not just those who agree with you.

First of all this is a pro-kosi thread and second of all I support him because I love the way he plays football!!!!!!!!!! as I have said previously he does not get the credit he deserves.

first of all, this is a St.Kilda football club supporters forum, not a Koschitzke love-in forum. Go start and moderate your own site if you want to post things without attracting opposing views.
As for you loving the way he plays football, what exactly is it about his on-field contributions that you love?

st byron there are atleast a dozen threads where you can ' discuss' your negative feelings about kosi - this one is clearly headed that it SUPPORTS him- so as you say- go to one of those.
obviously Jk23 felt that there was a need to lend support-
as you feel the opposite- why have you visited a thread that is clearly marked.?

I'm curious as to how you think this thread actually supports Kosi.
For the thread to actually support him personally it would need to be read by him and he'd need to be an active participant in the discussion. Since I don't see any evidence of that, it comes back to being just another thread on a fan forum.
JK23's original thread title might have been more accurately put as, "Don't post on this thread unless you think Kosi's a champ and don't want to hear anything about him except positive stuff".
Sorry Brat but it's an open forum, not a place where people can start threads that allow only for certain opinions. If you're looking for a refuge where Kosi is free from criticism, that will come when he starts playing some solid consistent footy.

The very idea of a thread that only wants to hear positive stuff about Koschitzke just re-inforces my opinion that there are lots of posters who don't want to call a spade a spade as far as he's concerned.
They're :
1. In love with how he looks or who he is as a person.
or
2. Clinging onto snippets of brilliance and the occasional solid performance as to why he's a champ.

There are also numerous posters who have a more positive view of him than I do and can put reasonable arguments to support that.
As I've said all along,I don't advocate trading him unless the deal is an absolute cracker. But... he does need to seriously improve his consistency and contributions. Struggling to be a GOP at present.

We've all read your opinion on the topic numerous times, st.byron.

I dont see why you have to infiltrate any positive thread on the bloke with negativity.

does this mean the interstate and international supporters and anyone NOT in the front row at the dome should stop - offering support- Now
if the players cannot see, read or hear anyone beyond that point >>>>>>

is this why we ONLY had 30,000 members- no one thought their' SUPPORT - was of any good-

I thought that the combined volume of the Dome and the knowledge that 30,000 + believe and thus Offer support is the reason the club exists>. That

I have no problem with people offering alternate views st.byron- it does get a bit monotonous when WE get to read it in every 3rd thread- Yet cannot offer a simple alternative

Fair enough. Your point and Nick's point taken. No further comment from me in this thread.

I think it's a bit niave to suggest that players don't read these forums

If Kosi reads this forum, he obviously thinks he is a gun and there's no need to put any further effort into his performance.
