harvey is an assistant coach at carlton just wondering how would you feel if his expertise helped them to premiership 17

It would make me feel sick.
Even though Harves deserves success in fottball I could not stomach it if was with those bunch of undeserving @#NTS.

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

Wont happen... he's a double agent, secretly still on the Saints payroll (the fake GT pay-out was a cover) and reporting back to us. His instructions are clear; keep us in the loop, keep the streak alive, prevent a scum flag at all costs (even if he has to go postal at 3/4 time of a GF), breed internal mistrust and instability (Setanta/Cloke= tick), encourage judd to over-train by constantly implying he is soft....
If you were a real Saints supporter you'd know all that.

Even though I hate the Swans more than I hate the Blues (and can't understand how anybody could feel any differently), the Blues have beaten us a lot more often than have the Swans and have also won a lot more flags during my lifetime, thereby bringing me a lot more pain.
Will my pain be any worse if they win with Harves working at club?
Paradoxically, I'd probably feel less pain than I have in past years. I'd be happy for Harves. And also happy for Big Fev, the Juddster and Ratten (for the three of whom I have a soft spot for varying reasons).
And, also, don't you all find that all those wooden spoons have made the Blues a little less hard to hate? (And yes, Stinger, I know you're not going to agree with me. )

In response to the OP, yep I would be miffed. And I think carlscum fans willl see it as revenge for the Hammill defection. Trust me, their fans will remind us of that fact.
But to posters who dont think carlton have a capable list, dare I say it out loud, a list capable of winning a GF before us then they should take off the rose coloured glasses.
A team built under a tradition of success, will beat a team of champions everyday.

That expression has taken on a new relevance..... given the number of premierships he has been involved with.
harves will win one with st. kilda before he wins one with the dross.
wait until 2010 and when he moves into the same position that he holds now, at 'home'.
