up till very recently I would have thought that Handballs would maybe not even be counted as a stat.
on Kicks- Dal leads the league ( without todays game) 78
with 3 saints in the top 25- 2 in the top 5 - Geelong also have 3 in top 25 ( no G Ablett)
on handballs G ablett lead with 97 ( of his total disposal 147)
and geelong have 5 in top 25
whilst saints have 2 - Bally and BJ
question - is it old fashioned to continue t place more value on kicks than handballs-?
BTW there are threee saints in the top 25 for marks- and they are the Backline-- makes it easier to defend when they are taking them cleanly and then bringing it back to the forward line.
