Well statistically and scorewise the game was won in the first quarter (we outscored Brisvegas by 19 points in Q1 and eventually won by 16 points) so maybe you should rather post your skewed votes for our 'saintsational medal' on that quarter's effort?bergholt wrote:no-one was consistent all day, but the game was won in the last quarter. so:
5: Dal Santo
4: Goddard
3: Milne
2: Koschitzke
1: Jones

"statisically and scorewise" it's very hard to win a whole game in the first quarter. "statistically", at the start of the last quarter, we were three points down and either team could have won, so what happened in the first three quarters had little bearing on the final result. "scorewise", we outscored brisbane by 19 points in the last quarter to win the game.Mr Magic wrote:Well statistically and scorewise the game was won in the first quarter (we outscored Brisvegas by 19 points in Q1 and eventually won by 16 points) so maybe you should rather post your skewed votes for our 'saintsational medal' on that quarter's effort?
as i said, no-one was consistent, for mine. dal santo was decisive in close in the final term, despite having brisbane players sitting on him all day. goddard was the general off half-back we'd been looking for since the first quarter. milne kicked three in a quarter to win the game.
as for the other two votes, probably montagna is unlucky. i mark him down for missing a couple of shots at goal, but he wasn't on his lonesome there. i loved kosi's work in the air, and once again was impressed by jones all day long.
