And he did everything else beautifully as well. He rarely makes a skill error and he almost always picks the best option. What a champ! And he's all ours!!

I saw coverage of him in the race after the Cats game. Looks like he is absolutely loving being a Sainter..... just like we are loving having him!

:D

He made one stuff up tonight - but recovered quickly to help negate the stuff and it didn't cost us. I thought it was notable because it is really the first stuff up I have seen him make all season. Just a fantastic acquisition. Whoever thought that one out deserves a pay rise.

Cant imagine he was the same young Hawk that looked totally out of his depth at AFL level.

Doing awesome things at full back and has more than come into his own as the season has worn on. I was worried that we wouldnt be able to find a replacement for Max when he hangs up the boots.........but not anymore 8-)

Did the bump make it on TV.
I missed it at the game, would like to see it on replay.

Yeah, it was at half back and the Crows player wasn't expecting it. Was fair though, play on had been called.

Has there ever been another Saints player that has played in 15 winning sides in his first 15 games?

Dawson is a great addition for the saints, he just seems to ooze happy....yet he is a tough nut in his own right. Nice combo!

Zac reminds me a bit of Rob Elphingstone, the Saints player from back in the '80s..long lanky player with long arms who seem to be able to get his hands on the ball when needed.

second quarter, back pocket, saints player had the ball and was looking for options, umpire called play on, dawson ran forty metres to put an enormous hit on brad symes just as the ball was kicked. great to watch!

symes stayed down for a couple of minutes, as milne kicked a goal at the other end.

I thought it was a cheap shot. Similar to the one that Steven King has just returned from or the one that West did on X. Clarke last year.

If the Adelaide player had been more seriously injured he would have got weeks.
