is there anything deliberate

Post: # 801235Post MC Gusto »

in the way we are playing?? the lack of intensity, a few players out of position, key stats low across the board?

grasping at straws a bit i know...and poor kicking is inexcusable and never the plan..but could there be a deliberate strategy of cooling off to build into september? would you really flirt with form?

Seems the players are either tired / down on confidence and not playing to instruction or there is a bit of keeping the intensity 'on ice' for the minute.

Preventing injuries and preserving energy..?

Could be. We look flat. Loading up the training is my guess.

We will find out in the next few weeks

Unfortunately the fact that we had more possessions 76 tackles and 23 more inside 50's says to me that we are just playing crap and need to find a decent skill level very quickly

I am seriously doubting whether a club like ours should ever have taken the foot off the gas two rounds ago.

I hope I'm proven wrong.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

I hope that is right, and from week 1 of the finals we are back to our early year form.

Did we have 23 more inside 50's?
