Then how come we didn't get the first two draft picks? And how come we weren't the laughing stock of the AFL?

Think before you post!

I think you have it around the wrong way, they were the laughing stock of the AFL, some people laughed because we choked in the big one.

Let's put the heckles of opposition supporters in perspective, we started the decade being heckled because opponents didn't think we could win a game now we are getting heckled because we didn't win the comp.

It hurts, it's sh**ty but it comes with becoming one of the competitions big boys and it will make Nick holding the cup aloft all the more sweeter come September this year.

Yes I'm with you! Can't wait for the season to start. This is going to be a fantastic year!

The bubble is waiting for the next indiscretion of a Saints player.

I'm quite sure the bubble won't be burst and we can go one further than last year.

I don't think your in a bubble SainterK, you seem to have your feet pretty firmly planted as does the St.Kilda football department.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Haven't you heard Ross is just a blow up dumby - the real action happens round here and SainterK is the chief protagonist.

OK now that we've sorted out St.Kilda lets deal with some real world issues - like superchef

I'm with you for sure!! And very well said too!! Can't wait for the season to start. I always look forward to the new season, but this year Im even more excited. I believe this will be our year...and I can't wait. And if I'm wrong, I'll "enjoy the ride" as catch phrase used to be.

Somebody mentioned "Nick holding the cup aloft". I think my table just started to rise...only kidding. But the thought of that made me genuinely excited, goosebumps, heart missed a beat etc and the first game's over 2 months away!

Oh well there's the Intra-club (we can't lose that one!) on Feb 12th (correct?) followed by the NAB (sponsor's name?) cup opener on the 19th....v the black and white!

Have been quite depressed recently with the sad developments (anyone who hasn't been living under a rock for the last month would know what I mean!) at the club but we will survive, and thrive. I'll let MLK say it for me (his last speech):

'Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now, because I've been to the mountaintop.

And I don't mind.

Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!

And so I'm happy, tonight.

I'm not worried about anything.
I'm not fearing any man!

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!!'

Bring it on!

Ok I've just seen more stuff about the disaster in Haiti and our problems don't seem so important!
