What has gone so wrong in the past 2 games?
I've been away for 11 days.....very little internet.....haven't seen any of the last 2 games, which I hear we won and got a total of 8 points for.
Sounds like we are about to implode or something?
Has the earth gone flat in the past fortnight?
Dunno, just the vibe I'm getting....

Must be about due to play the kids, I reckon. Get a few games into 'em.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

We were pretty flat on Saturday night, I wonder if a bout of the flu was going around as we didn't seem to run as much as usual. We have barely got out of first gear in the past two games.
One notable stat for me, is that we have only won one game by over 50 points (v North). So we seem to just cruise v the lower sides and go hard v the higher sides. We haven't been at our absolute best with the exception of about three games (v North, Fremantle over there, Geelong).
I think we will rev it up now and if we win the next few games could well get on a huge run going into the finals (something which may have hurt us last season).

There's still some anger over the Baker outrage.saintspremiers wrote:I've been away for 11 days.....very little internet.....haven't seen any of the last 2 games, which I hear we won and got a total of 8 points for.

The intergalactic media must be telling porkies. Everything's fine down here. Won last 7, equal top at 12-3.
Have a safe trip back.

I reckon the North game was the only four-quarter effort we've put together all season..and look where we are

We are looking to me better placed than 2009 in that we haven't peaked yet.
In 2009 we peaked in early August.......hopefully this year it will be in September.
The Brisbane flag teams were famous for peaking in September, and I reckon that is our destiny this year.....
