Regardless, the history with rucks is that unless they are utter freaks, they’re long term propositions.

No matter how good Heath goes on to be, it seems highly unlikely that he’ll be ready to play AFL primarily as a ruck in any sustained capacity for at least 2-3 years minimum

Only problem you have with Sam Hayes is that he has 2 years left on his contract so it'll cost something to do a trade with Port to get him to Linton Street - I'd rather stick with Max Heath, who I am confident will explode on the scene in 2022, and maybe go for someone like Casboult (31) at minimal cost to back up Paddy and Roma.
