I love that Robert Harvey tribute... it's the least we can do for the great man.
Every time I see him play, I think... he's a genuine hero/champion/star/great clubman/ect. And when you tink about his humility - I don't know if we will ever such a humble champion again.

Surely black would mean an easier read.
dont make black table cloth
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

been doing that for a long time.
believe it or not, but harvey doesnt like it!
but we still do it, because its for the saints fans, not him.

because i know this sounds strange, but harvey is not the true God. we cant do what he wants when he wants. we always put the "RH" sign up, and we will until he retires!

But why no one can see it and he doesnt like it so you must just do it for yourselves.

the camra can see it
the commentators take not of it and sometimes read out how many games he is on.
and yeah, we spend 4 and a half hours making the banner, so surely 2 letters (RH) and 3 numbers (363) cant kill anyone, its just for a bit of fun.

collingwood use black - i think essendon may as well
if you guys cant get your hands on black cloth then thats fair enough but it would be much better than the see through sheet that has been used
yes, but we use cloth, they use crape paper.
the difference is a few hours work!
as you can see in the photo we have 4 1/2 lines of cloth, (aprox 1 1/2m wide) if we used crape we would need about 16 rows (aprox just over a foot wide) this would take longer to stick to gether, then add up the rips would yould make walking across it because its so thin, plys the rips for sticking letters down etc.....takes alot more time and effort! we used black crape against either essendon or richmond (one of the two) in the NAB games, and it took alot longer to make and wasnt worth the time!
we just use white cloth and if we can get our hands on black we will, but not very many people want black table cloth so they dont make that much of it!
