strong Rumour going round Perth

Post: # 553132Post st_Trav_ofWA »

just heard a strong rumour doing the rounds that Freo are looking to off load high profile recriute Chris Tarrant with his preferance to be back to Victoria ..... Now i dont think he is the right fit for our team but who would you think would look at picking him up if this turns out to be true and also how stupid must Freo be to again waste quallity picks on a bloke who doesnt want to play for them just to send him on back (croad anyone)

from what i hear Freo are quiet desperate to part ways so you could almost pull off a trade like that

Top idea Plugger. Maybe offer them Schneider for McManus as well.

mmm casey forward line seems to be functioning well and the casey reserves kicked a bag, where would you play him?

really FG in 2 years time > tarrant.

milne at FF > tarrant.

as a FF, he's being outscored by milne...thats pretty sad

actually I didn't notice Rix 2.4 tackles per game to 1.4 from tarrant so for those crying about forward pressure...tarrant aint it.

God knows we need a few more tall forwards.

Preferably erratic ones with fluctuating form and a low commitment to football.

Brown is out of contract so we should try and get him. I would get Tarrent before cousins as Tarrant has a lot more ability. I think Ablett may be out of contract as well so we should go after him. We have a connection as his Uncle played with us. Also Bartell as well. Also a connection there. We have a bar at the club and we never tell.

Plugger i believe we will be asking Mike Shehan to compile a best 22 list and then we will target each player heavily i'm expecting to snare atleast 10 of these guys i'm thinking pav brown cornes bartel ablett kerr cox glass and many more but unfortunately we will need to give up clint jones and raph, thoughts plugger i think i've got the backing of atleast 1 other poster?

not saying we should pick him up in fact i think it would be a terrible idea to pick a below par forward in a trade . my question is what team would go for him ? bullys are always on the look for a key forward but i cant see that , the Dee's maybe with neitz retiring ?
